In 2014, we began pondering this question: How can we encourage the women of Atlanta as they pursue emotional, mental, and spiritual health? With that one question, the dream of Cultivate was born.

Our mission is to give women like you the access and opportunity to pursue emotional, mental, and spiritual health. We believe you deserve to be free of old hurts and habits, and to have access to excellent, affordable counseling tools and services.

We offer individual, couples, and group therapy to assist you in your journey of growth and healing. We also host Gatherings to inspire you on your journey and provide a welcoming community with like-minded women.

Cultivate was founded to be a resource for you in every stage, season, and transition in your life. It would be our great privilege to walk with you on your journey to living the life you were created to live.

Why lavender?

The lavender flower symbolizes grace, elegance, and grown up femininity. It needs full sunlight in order to grow and flourish. Light. It grows in bright light, not in the shadows. Lavender serves as a beautiful reminder that to become the whole, full women we were created to be, we need light and lots of it!

We need the light of love, connection, empathy, and encouragement. We hope to be a source of light in your journey of growth!

+ How long are the counseling sessions?

Counseling sessions are 50 minutes.

+ Do you offer in person or virtual sessions?

Yes, we offer both in person AND virtual sessions.

+ Do you offer reduced fee/sliding scale counseling?

Yes! We believe every woman deserves access to excellent counseling, and we want to make counseling accessible to as many women in Atlanta as we can. To receive our reduced fee sessions, clients must qualify based on household income and/or extenuating circumstances. If for some reason we cannot serve you at Cultivate, we will refer you to another trusted counselor in the area.

+ Do you take insurance?

We do not accept insurance. We do accept HSA (Health Savings Account) cards if you would like to use that for payment. We can give you a super bill if you would like to file for out of network coverage. Please note, it is our policy not to speak with insurance companies so we will not be able to engage in any follow up conversations with your insurance regarding your treatment. + Is Cultivate a Christian counseling center? Is it the right fit for me if I’m not a very spiritual person?

Cultivate Counseling is a faith sensitive counseling center, meaning we take our lead from the client on whether she would like to integrate faith into her counseling process. We welcome and meet each client wherever she is in her spiritual journey.
